About Baylor HouseCalls Program

Our HouseCalls program has been caring for the senior adults of North Texas for over ten years.  Beginning in 1998, Baylor HouseCalls has been proud to provide primary care to older adults who are homebound and unable to access health care through regular office visits with a physician.

Our goal is to bring quality care to the adult population in the comfort of their home, group home, assisted living facility, or special care unit.  We take a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment that may include physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, and chaplains.  Our goal is to ensure that our patients maintain quality of life and avoid visits to the emergency room or hospital.

Our experienced staff of Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and Physicians, specializing in geriatric and adult medicine, currently visit close to 1,000 patients enrolled in our program. Baylor HouseCalls has enjoyed tremendous success in preventing emergency room visits and hospital admissions for our patients.  Results show that our efforts have significantly improved quality of care for our senior patients.
